Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026

This is a structured draft covering the areas a privacy policy needs to address, written so it can be reviewed and finalised by qualified counsel — it is not final legal advice and should not be treated as legally binding until reviewed.

What we collect

To provide HR Ghana, we collect account information (name, work email, password — handled entirely by our authentication provider, never stored by us in plain text), and, where your organisation uses the relevant features, employment data your organisation enters or that you enter about yourself (employment records, leave, attendance, payroll, expense, and loan information).

How we use it

  • To provide the core HR Ghana service to your organisation.
  • To send account, security, and service emails (sign-in verification, password resets, notifications about actions taken in your account).
  • To respond to support requests you send us.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations where applicable.

Who can see your data

Employment and payroll data is scoped to your organisation. Access within an organisation is governed by the roles and permissions your organisation's administrators assign — HR Ghana staff do not access organisation data except as needed to provide support or maintain the service.

Data retention

We retain data for as long as your organisation's account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, tax, and audit obligations.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at info@hrghana.com.
